Primero picamos la auyama en trozos, la llevamos a cocinar hasta que quede blanda, la dejamos enfriar para proceder a quitarle la concha y pasarla al envase donde vamos amasar, debe quedar tipo puré y muy blanda para luego agregar un toque de sal a su gusto y la harina paz (puede ser cualquier harina de maíz), hasta quedar la masa en su punto para poder llevar al budare o donde deseen hacerla, yo particularmente utilizo un budare porque me encantan asadas y doraditas, luego que ya estén pueden acompañarlas con lo que más les guste rellenar sus arepas, en mi caso fue un revoltillo de salchichas con huevo y queso rallado
