This is a sweet which is made from powdered semolina(rava) and powdered sugar. Clarified butter or hot milk is added in small quantity to the mixture to form balls known as laddoos in India.

The rava is fried lightly and then powdered along with sugar. Powdered cardamom is added to add extra taste. Fried cashew nuts, raisins and other dried fruits can also be added. This sweet can be prepared very easily and requires minimum ingredients.
