Hello! Today we're here with a yummy recipe of barfi made from milkpower with in 20 minutes.
• 2 cups milk powder
• ½ cup ghee (clarified butter)
• ½ cup milk
• ¾ cup sugar (adjust to taste)
• ½ tsp cardamom powder (optional)
• Chopped pistachios or almonds for garnish (optional)
Grease a tray or plate with some oil or ghee and set aside.
Take a pan, heat ghee and milk on low flame.
Add sugar and stir until completely dissolved.
Add milk powder gradually little by litte while stirring continuously to avoid heavy lumps.
Cook on low heat until the mixture thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan better to use a non stick pan.
Mix in some cardamom powder.
Transfer to the greased tray and spread evenly. Cover with butter paper and smooththe surface with the help of spatula and remove the butter paper.
Garnish with nuts and let it cool.
Take out the pan after 15-20 minutes and
Cut into squares or diamonds once set.
For a richer taste, you can also add 2–3 tablespoons of condensed milk which is completely optional.
