Un grupo de niños jugaba tranquilamente en uno de los enormes jardines de aquél parque recreativo cuando advirtieron que una nave un poco mas grande que un autobús escolar aterrizaba en una zona de abundante maleza. Al acercarse notaron que unas pequeñas criaturas parecían estar haciendo mediciones de todo tipo. Ni un segundo perdieron aquellos valerosos infantes para iniciar la defensa del planeta.

-¿Que fue eso Toño?-

-Parece algo así como una papa cuadrada gigante. Vamos a ver-

-¿Que dijo Toño?-

-Pues nada, que son mas inteligentes que nosotros-

-Y ¿Qué con eso?-

-Explíquen- les dijo Javier al que parecía ser el jefe de la expedición alienigena-

-Esta bien, solo no se acerquen al campo porque ahí estamos jugando-

En eso un escuadrón de los visitantes empezó a disparar a los niños, pero extrañamente no les causaban ningún daño.

-¿Qué creen que están haciendo?- preguntó Toño

contestó nerviosamente el alien que estaba a cargo.

Un miembro del equipó científico alienigena interrumpió muy acelerado, para entregarle los resultados de los estudios a su líder.

Agregó otro.

-Saben deliciosos- gritó Gustavo mientras devoraba a uno de los visitantes.

-Si, saben como a carne con papas, pero secos- agregó Toño.

Gritó uno de los visitantes visiblemente asustado.

En unos pocos minutos los niños habían acabado con casi toda la tripulación.

Minutos mas tarde una gran cantidad de naves empezó a aterrizar en diversas partes del planeta. Al parecer se trataría de uno de los intentos de conquista mas inútiles de la historia.

Por supuesto no faltó alguien que aprovechara la oportunidad para hacer negocio y al mismo tiempo preservar la especie visitante.

A group of children were playing quietly in one of the huge gardens of that recreational park when they noticed that a ship a little larger than a school bus was landing in an area of abundant brush. As they got closer they noticed that some small creatures seemed to be making measurements of all kinds. Not a second lost those brave children to begin the defense of the planet.

-What was that Toño? -

-It looks something like a giant square potato. We’ll see-

-What did he say? Toño-

-Well, I think that they are smarter than us-

-Ok, but What with that?-

-Explain- Javier said to what seemed to be the head of the alien expedition-

-Okay, just don’t go near the field because we’re playing there-

At that time a squad of visitors began to shoot the children, but strangely they did not cause them any harm.

-What do you think you are doing? - Toño asked

nervously replied the alien in charge.

A member of the alien scientific team interrupted very quickly, to deliver the results of the studies to their leader.

-They taste delicious,- Gustavo yelled as he devoured one of the visitors.

“Yes, they taste like meat and potatoes, but dry.” Toño added.

shouted one of the visibly scared visitors.

In a few minutes the children had wiped out most of the crew.

Minutes later a large number of ships began to land in various parts of the planet. Apparently it would be one of the most futile attempts at conquest in history.

Of course, there was someone who took advantage of the opportunity to do business and at the same time preserve the visiting species.
