Today I had minor surgery for the fist time in my life. It wasn't a serious problem, but had to have the gallbladder taken away as the found gallstones on a regular check.
It was a quick surgery and according to the doctor everything went fine, I might be able to go home tomorrow to start a 4/6 weeks recovering period where I will have to keep a strict diet.
I amb a quite active guy, had been trying to fix an old gas generator yesterday and had several meetings online but today, at 6am regular life stopped when I was driving to the hospital.
I was reflecting on how we have a regular active life and all the sudden, your priorities completely change when dealing with health issues. Your world just stops and hopefully you slowly recover and start catching up, but in your mind, something change as you realize health and family is what really matters in life.
