One thing about all that is created is that, all is perfect and good, and making humans live on the planet earth is not by mistake but by the natural design of the Almighty God.
Having said this, I would like to respond to the prompt of the week which is all about “the alien planet.”
So, in my response to the topic of the prompt, I would like to say, as for me, I would not leave this planet earth for another habitable planet as i dont see any reason in going to another planet when the earth still exists. Although, I may visit the new planet on a vacation basis, but not to uproot my life here and live there.
The reason for this my own point of view is that, even if there's another habitable planet as the earth, this so called habitable planet would not even be different from the planet earth as this is because it would soon be filled by humans and as a result of this, it would in no time turn out to be the same as the planet earth.
For this reason, why would I now abandon the known devil to the unknown angel. For me, I would prefer to stick with the known devil and look for a way to make things better here on earth than to move with an unknown angel and an unknown destination where I would have to start all over again.
One thing I'm sure of is that, this unknown habitable planet would soon be hijacked by the powerful people of this current planet earth and they would soon turn everyone into their subject as they have always done here on earth.
Although, the place may at first be the best of place for all it occupants, but one thing is that a change place would never amount to a change person as people are generally wicked and this their wickedness would surely be carried to this new habitable planet which would soon be like a hell for its occupants if care is not taken.
So, staying here on the planet earth to me would be the best bet as moving and uprooting my base here on earth to move to another planet might not be as necessary as people would have thought it to be.
There's many other reasons I would not even consider moving to the new habitable planet, one of such reasons is that of my advance in age. For what reason would I have to go to another planet while I'm already getting old? Going into this new planet would amount to me taking more years to adapt to my new environment which might not really be worth it.
Well, I might consider the option if I would start from my mother's womb and grow to be familiar with the new habitable abide. Anything aside from that, I don't think it's worth it for someone like me.
In conclusion, one thing I know for sure is that the earth would always be home even if there's another habitable planet to live on.
This is my entry to week 185, edition 03 of the weekly Hive Learners weekly Featured contest.
