Life is not a product of sheer luck but a product of your responsibility. Your responsibility is almost entirely what defines your reality. You have to also know that your responsibility is majorly based on individuality. That is, your actions and duties to life are not collective but personal. You do not have to wait for others to take a step first before you know if to take your own step. In life, what you can take out of it is infinite and limitless, but the only deciding factor is how far you can take your responsibility. Your understanding of life and how to go about it is a sole duty. This is why I believe that life itself is an adventure in individuality.

You do not get to the end of responsibility, but you keep growing in it. When you have achieved a level of success, it is not over, rather it will open you up to other things you also have to do in order to sustain the success and to achieve more. There is nowhere you will get to and it will be a destination. As a matter of fact, if you stop taking steps in your life, what you think you have achieved as a success might begin to diminish. There is nothing you have achieved that will not place on you more responsibility to take more steps. Every exit is not a dead-end but an entrance into another place. This is what happens in life - any point you get to in life should be a stepping-stone for another level.

When you enter school for example, you will start from the basic class and when you have graduated from the class, you do not stop there but you will enter a higher class and this process continues until you have achieved your degree. If you stop along the way, your degree will not be in view. No one will give you the degree because of your past performance in primary school but because you have earned it. If you wait for when success will arrive at your doorstep accidentally without doing anything, then you will wait in vain.

I am not saying that things cannot happen by chance or by luck, but what I am saying is that you should not live your life waiting for luck or chance, or expecting "accidental success" to happen. Even if chance is to happen, it will make more sense if it meets you while taking steps. If the opportunities you have been hoping for are suddenly delivered to you, have you built capacity to undertake the opportunities with the required efficiency? But if you keep working on your dreams and taking relevant actions, you will not need to wait for opportunities because you will create your own opportunities. More so, if luck meets you in the course of taking responsibility, it will become an added advantage.

When you understand that life is not a function of chance, you will know how to take relevant actions towards building your dreams. You may have a wish or even a dream or an idea, but all these will not fulfill themselves, you are the one that needs to put in actions towards actualizing them. No matter how long you have wished for something to happen to you, if you continue to wish, you may prolong it from happening. However, if you take actions and then become intentional about the steps you take, then you will achieve it.

There is nothing that cannot be achieved in life, but that is only if you can pay the price. In fact, many people have achieved something similar to what you want to achieve. If they could do it, then it is not impossible for you to also do it. Then even if no one has ever achieved it, it does not also mean that you cannot get it done. After all, every mind-blowing invented and innovation starts one day and maybe from one person. Always bear in mind that success answers to the people who take responsibility to take actions where and when they are required.
