The more you know about a thing, the more you discover how easy it becomes and the more you gain mastery in it. The more knowledge you acquire, the better your view about world will become, and the more you realise the level of your ignorance. There are things you may never achieve until you have grown in knowledge towards that particular thing. Just as they say that information is what rules the entire world, when you know more, life becomes simplified and you begin to make more impart.

More often than not, the major reason behind the struggles of many people is lack of knowledge. I remember a particular time I bought an electronic gadget and for a few hours, I tried almost in futility to set it. It looked so difficult to set and all the attempts I made were almost futile. When I was almost getting tired from trying multiple times, I remembered that a user manual was included inside the packet. I reached for the packet and retrieved the user manual and just at the glance of it, I was face-to-face with the solution on how to set up the gadget.
Imagine if I had not gone through the manual, I may have spent the whole day and still be unsuccessful in setting up the device. Or worse still, I could end up damaging the device from manhandling it. In life, there are some difficulties that you can simply avoid by acquiring knowledge. One should also know that knowledge should not be limited to just your field or what you have studied in school, you need to go far and wide and learn more things. As a matter of fact, if all you know are within just your field, then you are limited.
Imagine if you go to an intelligent gathering where people are talking about a particular topic but you have zero idea of what they are saying. Of course you will feel uncomfortable. Not just that, you will be so quiet, not because you choose to, but because you do not know what to say. But if you have have residual knowledge about the subject of discussion, you will flow along with them and be glad about it. This is part of the reasons I believe that any opportunity to learn something new should be utilized maximally. The truth is that there is no amount of time or resources that you invest in acquiring knowledge that is wasted.
I remember the time I was in the university, I learnt how to make beads and other beaded wears. At first, when I was learning it, many people did not understand the reason behind my learning it and even myself, I just learnt it as a hobby. However, by my 3rd year, I discovered I could actually make money by making beads and selling. I started with making for my friends and charging them a token. Since where I was staying was close to the female lodge, I started displaying beaded handbags, necklaces, etc, in the front of the house. Amazingly, I made enough money from selling those items that I could easily pay for my handouts and textbooks. All these were possible because I invested in the bead-making knowledge.
You will be surprised the it may be the knowledge that you are acquiring today, maybe as even a hobby, that may save you at the later days. When you have an opportunity to learn a new things, always try to grab the opportunity. The truth is that the world is not just becoming more complex but competitive in nature, so much that you will need to have an edge over others in other to have an advantage. What can easily provide the required edge is when you know what the majority of others do not know. Of course, they will look for you when you possess the solution to their problems.

Before this era, someone could spend days on trying to create a simple design with freehands or with manual tools. But with the advent of computer devices, the same design can be completed in hours with a digital modelling app. Imagine if you are still living your life and performing activities only with the knowledge of the past, without upgrading it, you would have gone into obsoletion. If you do not want to update and upgrade on your knowledge to fit into the requirements of the new trend, then you are not helping yourself. It is worthy to note that your relevance and your worth in this highly demanding world is hinged primarily on what you know. I conclude with these words:
