There are times that the road that will lead to success are often full of roughness and difficulty, but they are part of the success story, so keep going. As long as you do not allow anything to discourage or distract you, then success is attainable. You will not expect your life's journey to be without challenges, but what you should expect is that you are well able to overcome them. No matter what life brings on your path as obstacles, just see them as stepping-stones to get to where you are going. The idea is to keep going irrespective of what is happening on the road. After all, difficult roads can actually lead to very beautiful destination.

I remember when one of my friends sent a package to me. The package was to be taken to the house of the person within the state because that was the address on the package. After which I will have to go to the house to get the package. When I was going to the house, the contours, twists and turns on the road was almost discouraging. Coupled with the fact that the road was un-tarred, so it made the journey very difficult. What I set out in the morning to go to, by midmorning, I was still on the road. At a point, I almost turned back but I continued, following the GPS direction that he initially sent to me.
When I finally got to the destination, and I entered the house, I started narrating to them how difficult it was to locate the house and it was already around noon. By the time I ended my narration, they handed over the package to me and it was really amazing. Then I told them with a smile; "the road may have been rough and difficult, but the destination is definitely worth it. In the same way in life, there is nothing good that you want that will be cheaply and easily delivered to you without you paying the needed price for it.
It is when you have fulfilled the demands of success that you will begin to expect success. Before you complain that things are not working for you, first ask yourself if you are working things out. I remember when one of my friends once said that "if you live your life by chance or by luck, you will be limited to what is available and not what you want." It is true that chance and luck may happen, but it will make more sense if they come to complement your work. You may not have a fair start in life, but it does not place you in a disadvantaged position if you know what you are doing.

Your condition of birth, your background, your origin, your tribe, etc, may have been beyond your abilities to determine or influence, but how you will end is entirely up to you by reason of how you have put in works into your life. If you cannot determine your start point, at least determine your end point. You cannot change what has passed but you can look forward to your proposed destination and then change something in the present that will give you a great future. When it seems like things are tough, just keep your mind on your destination and then keep moving. If you will not give up along the road, then you will get to your desired destination.
You may not be able to prevent the road from being rough and difficult, but you can choose not to give up. You cannot stop difficult times but you can ride on them to get to where you are going to. In fact, the more the times are dark, the brighter you should shine and the more impact you need to make. Always tell yourself that whatever happens, giving up cannot be an option. The point you feel like you need to stop trying is actually the time that calls for you to try even harder and put in your best. This is because the toughest of times is the closest to the breakthrough you seek. So keep going, and stop at nothing, until you finally arrive your beautiful destination.
