Could the sky be bluer or the breeze more refreshing in the heat of summer? My sister pepiflowers@pepiflowers has been away for a few weeks and the other day she sent me some pictures that she kindly gives me to inspire some haikus. Writing this kind of stanza is an art somewhat more complicated than it may seem at first glance. I have taken the habit, the taste for this reflective practice. Today I bring you one from a fabulous image that made me start from tranquility, from feelings of peace and relaxation...

Estar en calma.
Rivera que saluda
a los remeros.

*********

Be calm.
A riviera that greets
to the rowers.

******

Who lives idle and welcomes and refreshes the cheerful visitors.
