Now we are starting to work with AutoCAD. All layout drawings are similar, as they are based on the same topographic map; what changes is the information contained in each drawing. Depending on how this information is going to be used, design companies generally establish procedures, scopes, and contents that determine which drawing must be prepared and what information it must contain according to the project.

Ahora empezamos el trabajo con el uso del AutoCAD. Todos los planos de planta tienen similitud, pues se basan sobre la misma base topográfica, lo que va cambiando es la información contenida en cada plano. Depende para qué se vaya a utilizar dicha información, las empresas proyectistas generalmente fijan procedimientos o alcance y contenidos donde imponen qué plano debes hacer y qué información debe estar contenida en él según el proyecto.

In our case, since it is a semi-stationary sprinkler irrigation system, this drawing shows the distribution of plots by producer name and the area of each plot. The number of irrigation laterals and the corresponding number of sprinklers for each of these areas have already been clearly defined. It also shows the direction in which these laterals move during operation. In addition, it includes the number of hydrants, the overall configuration of the hydraulic network, and the beginning and end of the pipelines. Like every drawing, it has its respective legend, scale, and north orientation.
