This one is called "Ring".
Here is how I got there.
I started with a blank index card, aaaand just started swirling and swirling and swirling.
Since this is a blackhole, I thought in the spirit of the object that I am attempting to replicate on paper, I should give into the force of gravity and really bear down on the paper with my pen.
Yeah, I just basically kept scribbling to eventually fill out the whole card with darkness. Now I was kinda happy right there and would have submitted it like this, but then I thought what if I darkened it EVEN MOOOOOOORE!
And SO I DID!
I went nuts with the ball point pen and a couple color pencils and went for it.
But then, I thought.... DARKER! So out came the Sharpies.
So yeah then for the very last one I opened it up in photoshop and I monkeyed with the brightness and contrast and ended up with what you see here. I figured, maybe a good place to stop. :-)
Eh, maybe not an accurate representation of a black hole, but artsy as fuck though, and well, I am an artist. :-)
