Day 3 here and I am still here! Yes, my determination this year is strong XD so far. it's too early to boast, yes, but 3 days Ina row is a wonderful feat for me XD
I thin that key prompt put me on a roll because I finished this one fairy fast too ^^ but I also attribute it to the fact that I didn't go that crazy on the details of this one either. Plus I was trying a different style again because I'm that experimental XD
For today's prompt I have miniature and I had a hard time thinking of how to execute this prompt because it's kinda hard to show mini unless you put it next to something big So I thought, what about the miniature world of tiny tiny critters? Then I thought snail, then I thought tiny man traveling on a snail and it kinda lost the essence of being miniature but I was already on of the concept so I thought, why the hell not?
So there you have it XD
Materials: Fineliner, Liquid ink, neon markers
Duration: 2 hours
So I actually finished this one last night immediatelyafter the key because I was petty motivated and I had this moment going so I thought I may as well roll with it until I fell asleep. Lucky I slept when I was drying the ink so when I woke up, I only had touch ups and final details to do before I called it done and started typing XD
But working on it, I went straight ink because I don't even see my pencil lining because of how light my hands usually are XD and to be fair, the penning part was actually the easy part because I just penned in what felt good for this like where more shadows would go and such and it's been a while since I had that kind of ese with drawing
I was also debating how much little details I wanted this one to have before I actually colored it in because I told myself that when I colored this, the last thing I want to do is touch up, highlights then other minor minor details nly I would probably notice XD in the end, I really did go easy on the details but I feel that if I did more, I'd ruin the whimsy of it
This was my last shot of it before I went to sleep
Then after th final pen layer, some highlights and the addition of little fairy lights, I was done ^^
And that concludes my drawing of day 3. I think I'll start on day 4 and day 5 if I can because I know I won't have time for this again when I get back to work.
So I shall see you guys tomorrow! I'll be around as a lurker but I will definitely keep this motivation up until I get burnt out again XD
