After a rather exhausting half-day of work in my office鈥攚here I handle finances and prepare progress reports for projects in my regency鈥攚e often work overtime to earn extra income; however, that wasn't the case today. Usually, as the year-end approaches, we are required to work overtime to meet project targets that must be completed within the year.
It was noon鈥攖ime for a break鈥攁nd we were free to go out for lunch, provided we were back at the office by 2:30 PM. I went with two colleagues; just the three of us went today because the others didn't want to go out, as some had brought packed lunches from home.
On the way, we bought nasi bungkus (rice wrapped in paper or leaves) for lunch. The plan was to have our coffee only after finishing the meal, which is why we bought it; this Padang-style nasi bungkus is famous for being delicious.
Perta Coffee is our favorite spot for coffee; it is located on the Medan-Banda Aceh road, just past the town of Lhoksukon鈥攕pecifically at the Pertamina gas station complex, where there is a caf茅 serving coffee that tastes just right to me.
After waiting a short while, our coffee arrived at the table; we had ordered two cups of coffee and one sweet tea to enjoy after our Nasi Padang meal. We drank some water first, and only then did we have our coffee.
The iced sanger coffee blend is spot-on. I鈥檓 a huge fan of iced sanger; I rarely order it hot鈥擨鈥檓 not sure why, but especially in the middle of the day like this, iced coffee just hits the spot for me.
I think there are so many coffee lovers in my office, since coffee really does make us work with more enthusiasm; it seems I鈥檝e become a bit of a coffee addict myself lately鈥攈ehe.
The coffee has a sweet taste with a hint of bitterness; you can really taste the coffee itself, as well as the sugar and milk. It suits my palate perfectly, and it seems my friends really enjoy the coffee here too.
For all you coffee lovers, you should definitely head over to Parta Coffee; it truly serves the best coffee in Lhoksukon. We actually grab a coffee there almost every day.
But in the afternoon when we come home from the office, in front of the office there are already lots of sellers of very delicious Sangar coffee, so you don't have to go far to enjoy Sangar coffee. Next time I will recommend it, but it's right in front of my office, okay?
Not many people have come by for coffee this afternoon. Here is a glimpse of our coffee spot during the day; it鈥檚 quiet right now, but there will likely be plenty of visitors here soon.
The bottom line is, aside from the delicious coffee, the place is also very comfortable; the air conditioning inside the glass-walled area is nice and cool. It is the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee in the middle of the day like this.
Here is the receipt for the drinks we ordered here; after finishing the coffee, we headed straight back to the office, with the remaining coffee in my cup allowing me to keep drinking it in the car.
With a plastic cup like this, if you can't finish it right there, you can take it home or simply drink it in the car until it's gone.
