Sometimes, I got my own back. Not only can I help myself, I think I look pretty hot doing it! How about that?
Don’t get me wrong, I love my friends, my boys, my Brian and all the radtastic peeps who are there in a jam. I am truly grateful.
Being handicapped in the past, like ai was... you sometimes can forget that you can still do stuff for myself. It has been a while since I couldn’t walk and I have lost a bunch of weight.
There is no way I would be caught dead wearing this otherwise.
Doing Stuff is Empowering!
I often tell students that’s if they dont like something that it is a push from the universe to do more. So, gotta practice what I preach, right?
The act of doing things regularly, I refer to establishing a routine and rote. In life, when we are dependent on others, it makes ITV easy to stay dependent. As individuals, we have the responsibility to challenge ourselves so that we don’t take advantage. For this reason, when my car was acting up I felt obliged to do what I could.
Thankfully, all she needed were spark plugs and some oil... and that much I could do on my own.
