That old Eucalyptus...
I'm standing around outside the The Little Rec golf course. I don't golf. I'm grateful I guess. At least it's green and has trees and no condos. Right behind me is the rest of the public park. I don't go there anymore because it's too full of sketchy mofos. My high school is just a short walk from here. We used to party in the park all the time. Bands would play and the cops would come. There used to be school dances every Friday at the community center here. No more. Things have changed a lot. Most of the changes are shit. The trees are still here. The quality of life here? Steady decline since the 80's. Cramming every available space with condos and apartments and walled communities doesn't float my boat so to speak...
