Last week, I ordered Curry Mee for supper. But for today's supper, I am getting Laksa Utara at the same restaurant. Coincidentally, I also seat at the same table 😁

I have made a content about Laksa Utara in my previous posting. @rosmadirazali/laksa-utara. Describing the look and taste of Laksa Utara

Laksa Utara has always been one of my favorite dish since my childhood. As mentioned in my previous posting, there are multiple type of laksa in Malaysia, such as Laksa Utara, Laksa Penang, Laksa Johor, Laksa Terengganu and Laksa Sarawak. The difference between those type of laksa is their gravy.

Below statement describe the Laksa Utara that I am getting right now. Only the type of fish used to make the gravy is Mackerel fish

Laksa Utara it is a dish of rice noodles / vermicelli in a fish-based tamarind-flavoured gravy. The type of fish used to make the gravy is mackerel or sardines. Laksa Utara typically garnished with cucumber, onions, and fragranced with herbs like Vietnamese coriander and torch ginger.

Below picture is the Laksa Utara that I am getting right now. It is really spicy until I need to drink two bottle of mineral water to mitigate the burning sensation caused by the gravy.

Oh yeah, before I forgot, the total price for this Laksa Utara and two mineral water is USD1.5. Is it worth to repeat? Yes, it is. Just need to be prepared for the spiciness that come with it 😅
