Yesterday began the State School Chess Championship, in order to select the athletes who will represent our state in the national championship that will be held in April in the state of Barinas, and although we know that Matias will not participate because the Under 15, which is the category in which he participates, the competition is super strong, it is an excellent opportunity for Matias, as it serves as training and to measure their progress now that he is training formally, so yesterday of course I went to accompany him to the C. C. Ecocenter, where the tournament is being held.

These competitions are quite exhausting because they are two days, and we have to wake up early to prepare breakfast, plus lunch, since we leave home at 8:30 am and return after 6:00 pm most of the time, so it is quite a logistic weekend, however we enjoy it very much because Matias is with his friends and I with mine, besides sharing with the participants of the tournament, as a good group meets at our table.

Yesterday although 6 rounds were scheduled, only 5 could be developed because some players extend a lot in their games and that delays a little, especially the categories of older children, because in fact some categories such as U7 and U9 finished their participation yesterday, and others managed to complete the 6 rounds planned, but in the case of U15 and U17, only managed to finish 5, so our day is even a little longer, but they are definitely moments to enjoy. Moments to share and as a family to support Mati which is the most important thing, although yesterday my husband and Miranda stayed at home to advance some pending, but for today's day they are incorporated.

This kind of activities definitely bring us together as a family, besides being an excellent opportunity to share with friends and for the kids to develop in a different environment.
