La Guachafita se ha convertido en nuestro lugar favorito cuando nos toca comer fuera de casa y no queremos gastar mucho, ya que tienen una promoción genial de dos perros súper resueltos por 1.5$, y aunque hemos ido muchísimas veces es la primera vez estamos en este nuevo ambiente que no conocíamos.
Este local está ubicado en plena plaza Bolívar de La Asunción y cuenta con unas mesas con sombrillas enormes en el bulevar, pero además dentro del centro comercial hay otra área hermosa con solo dos mesitas decoradas con mosaicos, rodeadas de tiendas de artesanías súper coloridas, y hasta ese día yo podía jurar que eso era todo, pero hace unas semanas al salir de una consulta médica, buscamos a los niños en el colegio, y como Miranda tenía clases en la orquesta decidimos quedarnos, y por supuesto, comer en La Guachafita.
La cosa es que al ser justo la hora del almuerzo las dos zonas que conocemos estaban full, y cuando estábamos por irnos, el encargado, quien ya nos conoce, de tanto que vamos, nos dijo que podíamos ir a la parte de arriba y que ahí nos podían atender, así que subimos unas escaleras bastante inclinadas, y llegamos a esta nueva zona que me dejó enamorada como todas las demás, y es que La Guachafita está ubicada en un Centro Comercial Artesanal, en el casco histórico de La Asunción, por lo que conserva su arquitectura colonial.
Como pueden ver en las fotos, es una absoluta belleza, y al estar ubicada en un segundo piso la brisa era realmente increíble, y los detalles del lugar te hacían viajar en el tiempo. Amé las rejas de hierro forjado, el candelabro en el techo, la combinación de colores, las plantas, en fin, todo, absolutamente todo. ¿Y los perros calientes? Como siempre, enormes y muy ricos.
La Guachafita has become our favorite place when we have to eat out and we don't want to spend a lot, since they have a great promotion of two dogs for 1.5$, and although we have been there many times it is the first time we are in this new environment that we didn't know.
This place is located in the middle of Plaza Bolivar in La Asuncion and has some tables with huge umbrellas on the boulevard, but also inside the mall there is another beautiful area with only two small tables decorated with mosaics, surrounded by super colorful craft stores, and until that day I could swear that was all, but a few weeks ago after leaving a medical appointment, we looked for the kids at school, and as Miranda had classes in the orchestra we decided to stay, and of course, eat at La Guachafita.
The thing is that since it was just lunch time, the two areas we know were full, and when we were about to leave, the manager, who already knows us from going there so often, told us that we could go to the top and that they could serve us there, so we climbed some steep stairs, and arrived at this new area that left me in love like all the others, and is that La Guachafita is located in an Artisan Mall, in the historic center of La Asuncion, so it retains its colonial architecture.
As you can see in the photos, it is an absolute beauty, and being located on the second floor, the breeze was really incredible, and the details were amazing.
