Últimamente he estado muy motivada a darle un cambio a mi hogar, y parte de ese cambio ha sido incluir algunas plantas en la decoración, pero al estar dentro de la casa, es muy importante que las macetas aporten también un toque especial.
De hecho, hace poco compré algunas, pero en vista que en casa hemos estado teniendo otros compromisos, invertir en macetas no es una opción, por lo que decidí darles un cambio a las comunes y corrientes que ya tenía en casa, y es esto lo que quiero compartirles el día de hoy.
La verdad es que son muchas las cosas que podemos hacer a partir de las macetas que compramos en los viveros, pues las podemos pintar, revestir con otros materiales, forrar con telas, y todo lo que su imaginación les permita para darles una apariencia más bonita.
En mi caso, yo soy un poco fan del uso de revistas para decorar, de hecho las he utilizado en varias cositas en casa, así que pensé que sería genial probar darles un cambio a las macetas para que ellas por sí mismas sean un objeto decorativo, además de la planta.
Así fue como un día me animé a hacer una, y me gustó tanto el resultado, que ya he hecho tres, y es que además de ser súper sencillas de hacer, le dan un toque muy mío a la casa, además de diferente.
Este paso a paso que les muestro hoy, es de la última que hice, pues con las dos primeras simplemente no pensé en compartirlo, y no tomé fotos, pero pensándolo bien, es algo que puede serles útil en casita, así que aquí les dejo los materiales, para estas macetas intervenidas.
Solo necesitas:
Revistas
Pega blanca o escolar
Tijera
Temperas, acuarelas o pintura al frío
Y pinceles
Lo que sigue, es realmente sencillo, y bastante entretenido. Así que, vamos entonces con el paso a paso.
Y lo primero que haremos, una vez que tengamos limpia nuestra maceta, será pintar la parte superior e inferior con los tonos de nuestra elección.
En mi caso inicié con tonos rojos y azules, los que terminé cambiando al final, pues como suele suceder cada vez que trabajo en un proyecto, ¡nada termina como comenzó!

Después de aplicar las capas necesarias de pintura, escogí las hojas de revista con las que quería trabajar, y recorté tiras de acuerdo al tamaño que necesitaba cubrir.
Seguidamente con una mezcla de pega blanca, aligerada con un poco de agua y ayudada por el pincel, cubrí con pega un espacio un poco más ancho que las tiras de revista, sobre la cual la pegué.
Una vez en su lugar, pasé por encima de la hoja, el pincel con pega, asegurándome de cubrir todo el trozo de revista. De esta manera, no solo queda bien fijada, sino que la pega la protege.
Ya solo queda repetir este paso hasta cubrir toda la superficie de nuestra maceta, dejar secar, y listo. Sin mucho esfuerzo y con materiales que tenemos en casa, hemos mejorado un 100% nuestra maceta, que ahora, no solo nos sirve para sembrar nuestras plantas, sino que decora cualquier espacio en casa.

The truth is that there are many things we can do from the pots we buy in the nurseries, because we can paint them, cover them with other materials, cover them with fabrics, and everything that your imagination allows you to give them a more beautiful appearance.
In my case, I am a bit of a fan of using magazines to decorate, in fact I have used them in several things at home, so I thought it would be great to try to give them a change to the pots so that they themselves are a decorative object, in addition to the plant.
That's how one day I decided to make one, and I liked the result so much, that I have already made three, and besides being super simple to make, they give a touch of my own to the house, besides being different.
This step by step that I show you today, is the last one I did, because with the first two I just did not think of sharing it, and I did not take pictures, but thinking about it, it is something that can be useful at home, so here I leave you the materials for these pots intervened.
You only need:
Magazines
White glue or school glue
Scissors
Tempera, watercolors or cold paint
And brushes
What follows, is really simple, and quite entertaining. So, let's go then with the step by step.
And the first thing we will do, once we have our pot clean, will be to paint the top and bottom with the tones of our choice.
In my case I started with red and blue tones, which I ended up changing at the end, because as it usually happens every time I work on a project, nothing ends as it began!

After applying the necessary coats of paint, I chose the magazine sheets I wanted to work with, and cut out strips according to the size I needed to cover.
Next, with a mixture of white glue, lightened with a little water and helped by the brush, I covered with glue a space a little wider than the magazine strips, over which I glued it.
Once in place, I passed over the sheet, the brush with glue, making sure to cover the entire piece of magazine. In this way, not only is it well fixed, but the glue protects it.
Now we only have to repeat this step until the entire surface of our pot is covered, let it dry, and that's it. Without much effort and with materials that we have at home, we have improved 100% our pot, which now, not only serves us to plant our plants, but decorates any space at home.
