Hello my lovely bees. Today I’d like to share our little celebration at home.
It was my little cousin Reyansh’s birthday and he turned 7. He is the youngest among the cousins and definitely the most loved one. It had been a long time since I saw him as he lives in a different city- Mumbai. This year it was planned that he celebrates his birthday here in Mangalore with us. I was more than delighted about it.
We got him a customised cake with a Minecraft theme as that is his favourite video game and he is quite obsessed with the same.
We chose the design below for the theme cake and I asked my friend Nashwa who is a home baker if she could recreate it with a few alterations I mentioned. And she did an absolutely wonderful job at it. Nashwa started her own small business “Nashwa’s Patisserie” a year ago and makes delicious baked goodies.

The cake was Rasmalai flavoured and was delectable. Rasmalai is a Bengali dessert made with cubes of cottage cheese. The final result was beautiful.
