RE: Christine [Book Review] ESP/ENG
I thought it was more a typo as Christine is the book title.

RE: Trapped in Time: On the Calculation of Volume by Solvej Balle
That's so inspiring... I feel like I'm not reading half as much as I used to, but I try. I should listen to books as I knit too. And drive!

Such a classic. Side note, you spelt Christine wrong in the title.

RE: ThreeTuneTuesday - BlockTunes, the Future of Music?
No, I hadn't heard -- that's amazing! God help us though if it gets flooded with AI tracks. I like that Spotify and Tidal have taken stances on that recently.

RE: Fully Unhinged
Oh man yep. Once you start! I've just spruced up our bathroom (I say me ahha) - I'll post about it soon. New tapware, paint etc can really lift it up.

finally you die. Fuck ain't that the truth. Don't even try talking to Jamie about the endlessness of DIY jobs. If they're solid doors they're worth the effort. Our hollow core doors are terrible and whoever

RE: Picking Blueberries - July 20, 2026 @goldenoakfarm
Oh man, blueberries are my favourite. My boys too - I remember him at Christmas (our berry season) when he was little trying to beg more for his icecream. So good.

Hahaha yes maybe even the rainbows are moaning these days - it appears to be critical. Yes, sea writing is fine, but I've stopped monitoring it (though I'll always monitor you anyway) as it's just pointless.

Hahahha I let him have a little break to recharge his battery but if he doesn't get the internal doors replaced soon I'll have to get the whip out haha

Hive Garden is the one I'd never give up. I don't have the energy for Ocean Lovers until maybe this platform picks up again! So that would be incredibly generous xxx Thankyou xx

RE: The Joshua Tree
Whilst I am not a u2 fan, some of their songs are so poignant and memorable. One day I hope you can listen to them without thinking of your ex..

RE: Too Much Past and Not Enough Presence
Ah yes, nostalgia bias is real. I hate those posts that talk about how great we had it 'before'. Yet, I find myself part of the grumpy brigade as well. I don't like how AI is taking over, and we all go

RE: Other than Hive related sites, what else do you use on a daily basis?
I use Facebook, as I use Marketplace a LOT. Plus I get involved in stupid online arguments when I'm feeling feisty, which I shouldn't. I set a phone timer so I can only be on it for 15 minutes which helps.

RE: A Hoarding Problem
A lot of the charity shops here are getting flack for selling clothes for stupid prices, even cheap clothes that are sold for more than they cost originally. I think these days it's easier to price things
