If they're solid doors they're worth the effort. Our hollow core doors are terrible and whoever put the handles in did such a bodge job that we can't repaint and put the nice handles in that I want. So we're lashing out and getting these doors, which I think will look SO classy, and a glass door heading to the back 'lounge' aka spare bedroom where you look down the hall and see the bookshelf (no space in lounge for bookshelf). This will help light fill the hall as well and I think make it less small.
It's a good idea to keep your mouth shut. Women know best.
