After finding the required dagger to help Faye, who remains in a coma, I exited the apartment via emergency ladders onto flooded streets. As evacuation warnings echoed across Arkham, I boarded an engine boat to reach the Annex Library, determined to retrieve a book before evacuating the sinking city.
Kelvin confirmed that Faye was in a coma, though he could not recall the exact details of what had transpired. I searched through the apartment until I finally located the dagger that Kelvin stated was essential to bring Faye back.
With the blade secured, I prepared to head outside, stepping out of the room to explore the rest of the residence. Inside the bathroom, I spotted a book resting on the bathtub that Kelvin mentioned had been inexplicably burning for three months straight.
After taking in the strange sights around the living space, we finally exited the apartment building entirely. Our next objective required a visit to the Annex Library.
The entire city was heavily flooded, and persistent rain continued to pour down over the visual landscape.
I guided my character down an emergency exit ladder, which led straight to an adjacent roof. The reliance on high ladders made perfect sense, as every ground-level entrance remained completely submerged beneath the rising floodwaters.
As I navigated the rooftops and upper platforms, I spotted a specialized boat patrolling the submerged streets. Authorities on board issued loud evacuation warnings to the remaining citizens of Arkham, declaring that all supply lines were cut and that Arkham was officially lost.
Loud siren alarms echoed continuously across the water. I eventually climbed down to the water level, where Kelvin noted that the flood level crept up a little higher every single day.
An engine boat waited for me at the water's edge. Kelvin outlined our task: head straight to the Annex Library, retrieve the required book, and return to Faye, a plan he believed should be simple enough.
I took control of the boat and began navigating through the flooded avenues. Along the route, I spotted a resident tossing belongings out of a high window, alongside several other survivors lingering on upper balconies, confirming we were far from the only living souls left behind.
An evacuation ship glided past us on its way out of the city, but Kelvin reminded me that we could not evacuate yet, until we successfully save Faye.
That's all for this session. More moments coming soon and thanks for checking it out.
