Greetings hivers.
Last Saturday I had the chance to live a new and wonderful experience. I was invited to photograph the rehearsals of a theater group, and honestly I did not expect it to be such an intense experience. I had photographed actors before, but never while they were fully immersed in their creative process.
The photos I am sharing with you today are of one of the main actors. A remarkable performer and a true delight to watch while working. He shifted my emotions in a matter of minutes, going through so many that I no longer knew who I was photographing. It was an amazing experience.
It was impressive to see how every gesture, every look and every movement had a clear intention within the scene. The energy in the space was unique, with moments of absolute silence followed by bursts of emotion that made it impossible to lower the camera. As a photographer, it was a constant challenge to adapt to changing light and anticipate actions to capture authentic moments.
Without a doubt, it is an experience I would love to repeat. Theater has a special kind of magic that can only be understood from within, and being able to document it allowed me to connect in a different way with photography and with the stories being told on stage.

El sábado pasado pude vivir una experiencia nueva y maravillosa. Me invitaron a fotografiar los ensayos de un grupo de teatro, y la verdad no esperaba que fuera tan intensa la experiencia. Yo ya había fotografiado actores antes, pero nunca trabajando en pleno proceso creativo.
Estas fotos que hoy les voy a compartir son de uno de los protagonistas. Un actor encumbrado y un verdadero deleite observarlo trabajar. Me cambió de sentimientos en minutos, pasó por tantos que no sabía ya a quién estaba fotografiando. Fue una experiencia genial.
Fue impresionante ver cómo cada gesto, cada mirada y cada movimiento tenían una intención clara dentro de la escena. La energía del lugar era única, con momentos de silencio absoluto seguidos de explosiones de emoción que hacían imposible apartar la cámara. Como fotógrafo, fue un reto constante adaptarme a la luz cambiante y anticipar las acciones para capturar instantes auténticos.
Sin duda, fue una experiencia que me gustaría repetir. El teatro tiene una magia especial que solo se comprende cuando se vive desde dentro, y poder documentarlo me permitió conectar de una forma distinta con la fotografía y con las historias que se cuentan sobre el escenario.
