Greetings, Hivers and lovers of black and white photography.
Have you ever gone out for a photo walk, only to look through your images later and feel like some of them were taken on completely different days? That has happened to me quite a few times. And the series I鈥檓 sharing today was actually taken on the same day, with only a few hours between some of the photographs.
It鈥檚 incredible how many different things can catch our attention, sometimes with absolutely no connection between them. That day I was using a macro lens, so my field of interest was unusually wide.
I know that, from a photographic point of view, this may not always be the best approach. When you go out with a specific idea in mind, it鈥檚 important to stay focused and try to eliminate distractions. But the reality is that most of the time, our photo walks are simply about having a good time, enjoying ourselves and sharing the experience with friends who love photography.
We don鈥檛 always go out with a fixed idea in mind. And because of that, literally any corner can suddenly offer a good idea for a photograph.
Today鈥檚 series is about exactly that. About how, during a single photo walk, we can find interesting images at completely different moments, with no apparent connection between them, and still have them all belong to the same experience.
I hope you enjoy them. I鈥檇 love to know what you think.
