Recently my wife sent me a meme showing a group of photographers, all pointing their cameras at the same spot, completely absorbed in getting the perfect shot. The text said: Only a photographer knows the feeling. When the camera turns, the great subject of so much interest turns out to be nothing more than a bicycle leaning against a wall. I laughed a lot, because it is a scene I have found myself in countless times.
Sometimes it seems totally absurd to people passing by that we spend so much time photographing a flower, a cat, or anything that catches our attention. But when your eye is trained, you are not seeing what everyone else sees. You are seeing the finished photograph, its reading, its meaning. You are thinking about how you will edit it, which focus works best, which aperture to give the lens to achieve it. In short, an endless number of things that are very enjoyable when you are doing what you love most, that therapy that gives you the greatest pleasure, which is making photographs.
Today I share with you a random selection of those things that at some point I was questioned for stopping to photograph. Is it madness, or do you also see beauty in the simplicity of things? I look forward to reading you.

Hace poco mi esposa me envi贸 un meme donde se ve铆a a un grupo de fot贸grafos, todos apuntando sus c谩maras hacia el mismo lugar, completamente absortos en lograr la toma perfecta. El texto dec铆a: Solo un fot贸grafo conoce la sensaci贸n. Cuando la c谩mara gira, el gran motivo de tanto inter茅s era simplemente una bicicleta recostada a una pared. Me re铆 mucho, porque es una escena en la que me he visto innumerables veces.
A veces resulta totalmente absurdo para las personas que pasan a nuestro lado que le dediquemos tanto tiempo a fotografiar una flor, un gato o cualquier cosa que nos llame la atenci贸n. Pero cuando tienes la vista aguzada no est谩s viendo lo que todos ven. Est谩s viendo la foto terminada, su lectura, su significado. Est谩s pensando en c贸mo la vas a editar, qu茅 enfoque es el mejor, qu茅 diafragma darle al lente para lograrlo. En fin, un sinf铆n de cosas que resultan muy divertidas cuando est谩s haciendo lo que m谩s te gusta, esa terapia que m谩s placer te brinda, que es hacer fotograf铆as.
Hoy les comparto una selecci贸n random de esas cosas por las que en alg煤n momento me reprocharon detenerme a fotografiar. 驴Es locura o ustedes tambi茅n ven belleza en la simplicidad de las cosas? Los leo.
