Among the Clouds / Entre nubes. Monomad challenge. [ENG/Esp]

Hi, friends. Today I want to share with you some photos from my visit to Pan de Guajaibón last December.

Hola amigos , hoy quiero compartir con ustedes algunas fotos de la visita que hice en el mes de Diciembre del pasado año a el Pan de Guajaibon.

I had high expectations for the trip, the place, its scenery, and its people, since the friend who invited me spoke about it with such enthusiasm. It was a trip that took several hours, spent standing in a truck and enjoying the scenery along the way,
and he was right—I discovered a beautiful place, with people who were talkative, kind, and supportive, but what really made the trip worthwhile was the adventure we had there—sleeping outdoors in tents, swimming in the river, eating food cooked over charcoal, and the next day, the hike of a lifetime—that’s what I called it because of the effort, the scenery,

Tenia muchas expectativas acerca del viaje, del lugar, de su paisaje y sus habitantes pues el amigo que me invito hablaba con mucha alegría, fue un viaje de varias horas parados en un camión disfrutando del paisaje a lo largo del trayecto,
y tenia razón descubri un lugar hermoso, personas conversadoras, amables, solidarios, pero lo que realmente hizo que el viaje valiera la pena fue la aventura que vivimos allí , dormir a la interperie en tiendas de campaña, nos bañamos en el rio, comida hecha al carbón y al dia siguiente la caminata del siglo, así la llame por el esfuerzo, el paisaje.

I really enjoyed that experience. In 1989, I climbed Pico Turquino, the highest peak in the eastern part of the country, and in 2025, I climbed the highest peak in the western part. These are among my personal achievements that have brought me the most satisfaction in my life, as they have tested me physically and rewarded me spiritually and emotionally.

Disfrute mucho esa experiencia en 1989 habia subido el Pico Turquino el mayor punto alto del Oriente del país y en 2025 subi el punto mas alto del Occidente y eso es uno de mis logros personales que me dan mas satisfacción en mi vida pues ellos me han puesto a prueba físicamente y me compensaron espiritual y emocionalmente.
