A few days ago I participated in a religious event where a huge number of people gathered. In this kind of meetings it is inevitable that some incidents happen: an old man fainting, someone with high blood pressure, or even a more serious accident 鈥攚hich hopefully never occurs 馃檹.
While I was taking my photos, I noticed a group of people who, by their clothing, clearly did not belong to the church. However, they were very attentive to the event and active in their duties.
When I had the chance, I approached one of them to understand what their role was. They were volunteers from the Red Cross 鉀戯笍. They are present in natural disasters, major accidents, large gatherings, or simply anywhere they can be of help.
I believe this is an attitude worthy of recognition. These men and women are brave individuals who, voluntarily, would risk their lives if necessary to help others. And such gestures deserve all our respect and gratitude.
From me, they have it and will always have it. My best wishes to all of them. And now, I hope you enjoy this small photographic series that I bring today in tribute to these brave people.

Hace unos d铆as particip茅 en un evento religioso donde se reuni贸 una enorme cantidad de personas. En este tipo de encuentros es inevitable que ocurran incidentes: un ancianito que sufre un desmayo, alguien con la tensi贸n alta, o incluso alg煤n accidente m谩s grave 鈥攓ue ojal谩 nunca suceda 馃檹.
Mientras hac铆a mis fotos me llam贸 la atenci贸n un grupo de personas que, por su vestimenta, era evidente que no pertenec铆an a la iglesia. Sin embargo, estaban muy atentos al desarrollo del evento y activos en sus tareas.
Cuando tuve la ocasi贸n me acerqu茅 a uno de ellos para entender cu谩l era su labor. Eran voluntarios de la Cruz Roja 鉀戯笍. Ellos est谩n presentes en desastres naturales, accidentes de gran magnitud, concentraciones de personas o simplemente all铆 donde puedan ser de ayuda.
Me parece una actitud digna de reconocimiento. Estos hombres y mujeres son valientes que, de forma voluntaria, arriesgan su vida si fuera necesario para ayudar a los dem谩s. Y esos gestos merecen todo nuestro respeto y gratitud.
Por mi parte, lo tienen y lo tendr谩n siempre. Lo mejor del mundo para todos ellos. Y ahora, los invito a disfrutar de esta peque帽a serie fotogr谩fica que les comparto en homenaje a estos valientes.
