El Vedado in infrared. I have grown fond of street photography in IR. It was a technique I had reserved only for landscapes, and although I do not really like the ghostly look people take on, in urban landscapes it becomes very, very attractive.
Blue skies turn black and the clouds literally explode. The white vegetation looks like snow and everything takes on a deeply unsettling atmosphere, as if the city were breathing at another frequency of light.
Today’s small selection aims to show you this wonderful world. I hope you like it.

El Vedado en infrarrojo. Le he cogido cariño a la fotografía callejera en IR. Era una técnica que tenía destinada solo al paisaje, y aunque no me gusta mucho el aspecto fantasmagórico que adquieren las personas, en el paisaje urbano resulta muy muy atractiva.
Los cielos azules se vuelven negros y las nubes explotan literalmente. La vegetación blanca parece nevada y todo adquiere un aire sumamente inquietante, como si la ciudad respirara en otra frecuencia de luz.
La pequeña selección de hoy pretende mostrarles este maravilloso mundo. Espero que les guste.
