Doors: Portals to the Unknown / #monomad challenge / [ING/ESP]
The photos 馃摳 are my entry to the #monomad contest from 
Greetings dear friends of the black and white community.
I鈥檝e always been fascinated by doors, especially closed ones. They are, as I say in the title, portals to the unknown. We never really know what lies behind them, except for the creative thoughts that, in my case, take flight.

When they open, I think they lose their magic. Reality sets in鈥攐ften disappointing鈥攚hen we realize there's nothing extraordinary behind them. Just an ordinary family, going about their lives, with their pets and family portraits on the walls.

I鈥檇 rather embrace the uncertainty and let my imagination roam free. Maybe, just maybe, one of those doors hides something incredible鈥攍ike Narnia or a portal to a distant land, to freedom. I鈥檇 rather not know.
That鈥檚 why I photograph them closed, capturing their textures and details. The more intricate and mysterious, the better. Every closed door is a riddle, a blank canvas for the imagination.
