There is something timeless about photographing at the beach. The sea has a way of simplifying everything: the wind, the salt in the air, the endless horizon. In black and white photography, all those elements become emotion and contrast instead of distraction. Light feels softer, skin gains texture, and every gesture seems more honest.
Today I want to share a small series of portraits of two young women during an afternoon by the shore. I tried to focus on natural expressions and the interaction between them and the landscape, letting the movement of the water and the breeze complete the images. Sometimes monochrome photography allows us to see beyond color and pay attention only to mood, light, and presence.

Hay algo atemporal en fotografiar en la playa. El mar tiene una manera de simplificarlo todo: el viento, la sal en el aire, el horizonte infinito. En fotograf铆a en blanco y negro todos esos elementos se convierten en emoci贸n y contraste en lugar de distracci贸n. La luz parece m谩s suave, la piel gana textura y cada gesto se siente m谩s honesto.
Hoy quiero compartirles una peque帽a serie de retratos de dos muchachas durante una tarde junto al mar. Trat茅 de concentrarme en las expresiones naturales y en la interacci贸n entre ellas y el paisaje, dejando que el movimiento del agua y la brisa completaran las im谩genes. A veces la fotograf铆a monocrom谩tica nos permite mirar m谩s all谩 del color y prestar atenci贸n solamente al ambiente, la luz y la presencia.
