That's a great question. 

If you make a blog post, it takes time. If want to make a quality post, you have to do your research. It might take 4-5 hours. You have to put your effort and talent to make that post. Unfortunately, when you see your post hardly makes any money, it is disappointing. On the other hand, you see low quality post makes a lot of money. Then what's the pointing of wasting your time in blogging?

If you are passionate about blogging, you will continue doing it, no matter what. You are not doing it for money. You do blogging because you love it. In the short term, you might not get financial benefit from your blog, but in the long run, you will get the result.

If you use Steemit to do blogging, you can incorporate a lot of things such as answering questions on Musing that I'm doing right now, making photography post and so on. To do this, it might not take much time and you will get reward for that.

Focus on your strength. If you are good at writing, you should keep blogging. People might not notice that right away, but if you are making quality post on a consistent basis, your post will definitely grab others attention. And you will get upvote from them.

Your reputation about writing matters if you want to succeed in the future. So keep blogging, it is worth it.
