Greetings everyone... welcome to my blog.
The week flew by; in the blink of an eye, Friday is already here. As I mentioned before, I’m taking a break after spending the past month working daily on various projects with a group of university students who were completing an intensive course. The next time I’ll be working with them is when the new semester starts in two weeks.
I remain available for any digital work requests while I wait for my new work tool to arrive. I’m really excited about it, as it’s my first time making an online purchase.
On another note, I’m fully back to my training routine. However, since my arm is still injured, I’m taking it easy—doing low-difficulty exercises with very light weights (or no weights at all) and stopping whenever I feel uncomfortable. Thank goodness I’ve managed to do this without pain, though there is still some mild muscle soreness from movement, which goes away with rest and gel.
My training group celebrated its anniversary this past weekend, and we’re having the actual celebration today. It’s our third anniversary, and the group wanted to meet at a familiar, trusted spot. I’ll let you know where it is later. Over the weekend, some of our runners went to Caracas for the Gatorade race, which is why we didn’t celebrate on the actual anniversary date.
In a way, the celebration started over there; we’re all so proud to know they were representing us at the Gatorade Caracas Rock, and that the lovely "Vida" logo is making waves across the country.
In the meantime, I used my week off to organize some upcoming work tasks, chat online with my children and friends to hear about their weekend activities, and cook some delicious meals now that I have better mobility in my arm.
Yesterday, I made a chicken and four-cheese pasticcio (lasagna)—simple and straightforward, but tasty. Today we wrapped up our workout with an intense functional training routine combined with jogging; I was truly exhausted, but nothing a coffee and a slice of watermelon couldn't fix.
I wish you all a wonderful Friday... thanks for visiting my blog.
