Only two runs this week,
I felt a twinge in my right thigh following a slight stumble last Sunday and so took it a bit easy, restive!
This was somewhat unexpected as it's my left leg that's my week one, such is life I guess.
My right feel fine again already btw.
I track most of my runs with Garmin, which auto uploads to Strava.
Weekly running summary:
- Total kilometers this week: 10.5K
- No. of runs: 2
Tuesday's Run - 5K trot around Ashford Park
I was working in Ashford, and found this nice local park close to Lodge I was staying in. Dead flat, tarmac surface and perfect for a gentle run, even got a comedy high-five from a woman coming the other way.
I guess it was more of an out and back rather than 'around' the park.
Sunday's Run: 5.5K trot around Ranscomb
My usual 5K circuit, modified to avoid the really muddy downhill section - I ran down a parallel road before joining the nature reserve.
About half the run had the wind against me, the uphill drag KMs 2-3, which made this even slower than it would have been given my taking it easy mood.
Got my pace up to just below 4 mins/ KM and my legs felt fine after!
