A latte for tea drinkers.

You will need:

Two cups milk (whole milk tastes best)

One cup water (keeps the milk from sticking to the pan or boiling over too fast, most will evaporate off anyways)

Two or three bags of chai tea (or you can use loose leaf tea and freshly ground spices and strain it through a cheesecloth. A bit of a pain, but worth it sometimes.)

Sugar or brown sugar to taste. I like brown sugar better in these.

Step 1: combine the milk and water in a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat

Step 2: immerse teabags in hot liquid

Step 3: simmer for about 15-20 minutes. You will have to be careful throughout that it does not boil over.

Step 4: put the sugar in the bottom of a glass or mug and pour your chai latte over it. Saves you from having to use a spoon to stir it.
