The long-tailed rosefinch (Carpodacus sibiricus) (outdated name - Uragus Sibiricus)

This beautiful bird is the size of a sparrow, maybe a little smaller, but because of the very long tail it may seem that it is much larger. Its beak is short, like a bullfinch, designed for plant foods. I really like his plumage coloring. Its like a berry ice cream.

Most of the time these birds spend in the bushes. As I showed in the photo. I met this lonely bird by the river. There, by autumn, the river was already shredding, while exposing the bushes. In these bushes was this bird.I tried to lure him into the sound, and he reluctantly flew in, but kept a distance comfortable for him, while timidly hiding behind the branches.
