The Eurasian wryneck (Jynx torquilla)

The unusualness of this bird lies in the fact that it belongs to the woodpecker family. Although she does not peck trees like all other woodpeckers, and does not know how to cling to the bark of trees. She prefers to catch insects and eat ants on the ground.

But she's main feature, for which she received its name, is its behavior when danger arises. When a bird sits in a nest, and some enemy appears beside it, she pulls out her neck and begins to rotate it to the sides, imitating a snake.
