I know nothing about the nesting of these birds, I have not seen them in the summer in the forests. And all because these birds are northern, and live in mixed and coniferous forests in the north of the continents. And with the advent of late autumn, they begin migration, or rather nomadize to the south, in search of food.

Here they spend the whole winter, and with the arrival of spring they begin to fly back to the north. Even at the beginning of May you can meet flocks that are still flying north. I saw a flock of these birds fly past my favorite forest and stop for lunch. And there, the males looked after the females, treating them to the berries left after the winter. Which means the flocks don't pair up until they reach the north.
