This week's theme is - WATERFOWL
Of course. As without these ducks familiar to us. They are everywhere! And even now, in winter, at -26 degrees, they remain to winter in the city. Recently I read the news, about 600 ducks left to winter. All because people feed them.
This species of ducks is very similar to mallards, and young ones are generally indistinguishable. Pay attention to the stain. In these ducks it is green, and in mallards it is blue.
I always meet these ducks very far from the city, on a lake in a coniferous forest. There they often stop to rest when they fly away for the winter.
One day, walking along the river, I saw a whole family of these ducks. They rested in the sun on rocks in the middle of the river.
Another duck that looks like a mallard. But the differences are visible on the head. She has a wide beak.
Seagulls can also swim on water馃槃
