How about woodpeckers?
Three-toed Woodpecker
I rarely encounter these woodpeckers, only in the fall or winter. They are rare because they prefer to live in dark coniferous forests, but when joining mixed flocks, they can end up far from their usual habitats along with other birds. Pictured is a male and female; the male has a yellow cap.
White-backed Woodpecker
This woodpecker species is particularly fond of rugged forests with decrepit and rotten trees, from under whose bark insects and their larvae are easily extracted.
Black Woodpecker
The largest woodpecker. Found in all forests. It is noticeable from afar due to its noisy behavior, loud knocking, and frequent, loud calls when calling and during flight.
Great Spotted Woodpecker
This friend is found everywhere and always. It's easy to spot. And in villages, they may even visit bird feeders along with other birds.
Lesser Spotted Woodpecker
This little fellow, unlike other spotted woodpeckers, doesn't peck tree bark, except for rotten and loose bark. Instead, it prefers to examine the thin bark on branches.Notice the brown spots on his head, these are not the color of his feathers but just the dirt he got when he was digging in such rotten bark.
Grey-headed Woodpecker
This rather rare species of woodpecker is encountered sporadically. It has a very distinctive appearance and a completely different call than other woodpeckers.
Wryneck
And, of course, I need to mention this bird, which also belongs to the woodpecker family. It doesn't peck at bark or branches; it's a typical cavity-nesting insectivorous bird.
