馃 The common chaffinch or simply the chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs)

馃摎 fringilla (lat.) - finch; fi nco (Old German), fi nc (Old English)
caelebs, coelebs (lat.) - single, idle, unmarried

These excellent singers come to us in Siberia very early, in early April. But our weather is so unpredictable that one day it can be warm, and the next day frost and blizzard. And even in early June it can snow a little. We have a harsh continental climate.

But these birds are frost-resistant, so no frost will prevent them from singing songs protecting and marking their territory. It is enough just to fluff up the plumage and turn into a fluffy ball.
