In our country and in neighboring countries, this bird is called as - Chilly. These birds arrive very early in spring, when there is still snow, but the sun is gradually warming up. And these early spring days these birds fluff up to keep warm. By the way, they fly away for the winter rather late.

The Eurasian nuthatch or wood nuthatch (Sitta europaea)
These guys are wintering. They can wander through the forests in winter, or they can simply settle and live in some park where people constantly feed the birds.

The long-tailed tit (Aegithalos caudatus)
When these cute birds with a long tail fluff up, they look like a balloon with a tail. For this appearance, they got the name - ladle.

The citrine wagtail (Motacilla citreola)
Spring, and all the weather in general, in Siberia is quite unpredictable and harsh. On April 30 it was very warm, the snow had already melted. But on May 1 it became sharply colder, there was a real blizzard. When the weather returned to normal, I visited the flooded meadows. There I saw this wagtail trying to keep warm. In addition to the low temperature, there is high humidity.

In the same place in the meadows, I met this nightingale. Despite the cold, he ran pretty fast in the snow and found insects. He sang songs. In warm weather, he is thin and slender, but in such an unpredictable spring he has to somehow keep warm.

Well, of course, I could not ignore this tit. After all, it is called just that - Fluffer. She was so named for her style of fluffing feathers strongly in cold weather.
