Now these fluffies are already sleeping. And they will sleep for a long time, until spring, until about the middle or end of April, depending on the weather. And in order to survive the cold winter, they stock up on food, which they eat during the winter when they sometimes wake up.
These photos were taken by me in mid-April. As you can see, there was still snow, but the chipmunk had already woken up. He was weak and probably hungry. In general, it is rare for me to see a chipmunk in the middle of the snow.
He climbed onto fallen trees and stumps and examined them. And one day I found something and climbed up a tree with it to eat it.
