These restless tits are found throughout the year, in forests of various types, in city parks and gardens, and in courtyards in autumn and winter. They are trusting and friendly. In parks, they fearlessly accept treats from the hands of passersby, as they have become accustomed to people.

They feed on insects and their larvae, spiders, and plant matter (nuts and seeds).
In the fall, they begin to form larger groups with other species of pisces to roam the forests together.
