This nimble bird is the embodiment of anxiety. At first glance, it is nondescript: gray-brown back, white belly, no bright details. But watch it for a minute, and you understand why you remember it.
He does not walk along the shore, but runs, as if he is late, and all this with comical bows - the tail up and down, like a wagtail. Most often I met them on pebble banks, on the banks of rivers, and once I met them in a dry swamp.
These birds have a very memorable voice, which over time begins to become annoying. We call this sandpiper "the carrier". Because it constantly runs from one place to another.
