These birds are among the earliest to return from winter. Depending on the weather, they arrive at the very end of March or the beginning of April. At this time, the sun is already warm, but there is still a lot of snow in the forests. They fly in flocks, and I only managed to see them once, at the end of March. It was difficult, because at this time they do not give themselves away in any way, but simply fly past.

Having occupied the territory, the males begin to defend it and sing their recognizable songs. After a couple is formed, the female begins to build a nest, which you can see in my photos. And the male defends both the female and the territory, and there are cases when he attacks birds that he considers dangerous.
