This is another northern bird that flies far to the north. But unlike the redpolls which I wrote about in the last post, this bird flies depending on the weather. Usually they can already be found in early or mid-October, closer to winter.

They spend the winter constantly wandering from place to place. They raid berry trees and feed on them. In winter, it is not difficult to meet them right outside the city if rowan trees grow.
Mass migration can be seen in early spring, around March, but even in May small groups of birds can be seen.
