🦉 The common starling or European starling (Sturnus vulgaris)

• vulgaris (lat.) well-known, ordinary

For some, starlings are ordinary birds that live nearby, but for me they are very rare birds. I only see them in early spring. Moreover, you need to have time to meet them before May, because by this moment they will disappear somewhere.

However, several times I was lucky enough to meet starlings in the summer, and this was in the meadows near the river.
This nice fellow was walking along the path and looking for something to eat. But not to eat for myself, but for my child (in the last photo), who was in the bushes nearby.
