🦉 The Eurasian nuthatch or wood nuthatch (Sitta europaea)

One spring I was walking through the forest and saw a nuthatch running back and forth through the trees with prey. Fortunately, I was able to capture this in photos and even video.
This friend caught some large and fat insect and tried to eat it.

But since this insect had a strong chitinous cover, it did not succeed very well. He inserted food into holes in the tree bark and literally crushed it like hard nuts. But he didn’t do well, after which he decided to try to do it again on another tree, probably it was more convenient there.
